A defective product is one that was either designed with flaws or was manufactured improperly. This can result in unsafe products. There are numerous instances of defective or dangerously designed products that have negatively affected, injured or even killed consumers.

In a products liability case, the law may find blame with any or all individuals involved in the manufacture of a product. Those at fault may be held liable for any harm their product causes.
